Speculative costume and set design project for a late 1960s band consisting of female characters of Shakespeare’s comedy plays. For this project I pattern-drafted and constructed a bodice using a 1598 pattern and deadstock vintage fabric. For my costume designs I explored the similarities between 1960s and Elizabethan textiles using portraits of the era as references.
