A Midsummer Night’s Dream

2024

Under my role as prop supervisor for this production, I made several costume-props, the standout being Bottom’s donkey head. I drew inspiration from Welsh folk tradition Mari Lwyd when making this macabre headdress modelled after a donkey skull. I also made the armor worn by Bottom’s Pyramus, Oberon’s crown, the headpieces for Starveling’s moon and Snug’s lion. I followed the costume designer Emmy Carter’s illustrations and moodboards for reference.

Professional photographs were taken by Scarlett Madison and RedManhattan Photography.
